High Priestess
I have completed my Initiation,
Though in one sense
Never will it end.
So I am, now, the High Priestess
Of an ancient religion –
A religion lost to mankind,
Left long ago
In the mists of antiquity.
‘Tis a religion of such unsurpassed beauty
And such profound wisdom
That humanity has not, again, known its equal.
And suffered have we its loss,
For without it we are as empty husks
Existing in darkness
Mourning the loss of Light.
I am the High Priestess
Of this, the original religion.
I am she who serves
And I am She whom I serve.
Thus do I serve all the gods,
And all the gods serve me.
